Hi, I’m Molly, the creator and owner of Daisy Chain Baking Co. I’m a 16-year-old girl from NSW who loves baking. I first started baking when I was nine years old, I loved experimenting with flavours, and dishes and being creative in the kitchen. I baked a lot during COVID like the rest of the world, and out of everything I baked, I fell in love with making cookies. So I set out to find the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. I’ve spent the last three years trying, changing, and perfecting my chocolate chip cookie recipe. In 2022 my co-worker asked me to make macarons for her wedding. After her wedding, she encouraged me to start my own business. At first, I thought she was crazy, a teenager with a baking business no way! So I just went along baking for my family and friends. Last year my co-worker started her own business and told me again that I should start my own business so she could sell my cookies. Being a bit older and more confident about my baking I slowly started thinking about it. I got my food license and started working on the name. After months (I'm not exaggerating) I finally landed on a name, I wanted something personal but something that was elegant. I landed on “Daisy Chain” because daisies are my favourite flower and my birth month flower. Baking has always been an outlet for me from the real world, it solves all my problems and makes reality seem miles away and It is my dream to one day open and run my own cafe.
